I find myself facing my own mortality on a daily basis, I don't know if that's because I'm getting older or because I have kids now. All I know is this... I do NOT want to die..ever, and I especially do NOT want to die young.
I have tried exercising and I have tried magic pills from the doctor but each time I try, I fail. I fall at the same hurdle every time. I snack... a lot. I snack on high fat, high calorie and low protein foods. Which means that I must be taking in well over the suggested 2500 calories a day.
The purpose of this blog is for me to not only be able to identify the problem but also to tackle it head. The first thing to do is to keep a diary of my calorie intake and also get some proper calculations and measurements about my weight, size, BMI and other things.
Today is Day 1:
bacon butty on w/meal = 241
chicken bites= 117
chicken on stick = 175.5
strawb & Van drink = 16
pot noodle = 392
sweets = 644
Jerk Chicken with Cauliflower mash = 587
late addition:

Total = 2835.2
here are some rough statistics until I get myself properly weighed:
Age: 26
Height: 6ft (180cm)
Weight: 147kg (324lbs)
current BMI = 43.9
so I failed to keep within 2500cals today.. maybe tomorrow.
